Principal Appreciation

Monday was Principal Appreciation Day. Many of our students wrote sweet notes on fun shapes to hang all around Mr. McDaniel’s office for both of our principals this year, Mr. McDaniel and Ms. Wales. CKMS is so lucky to have such amazing leadership, so we’ve been inspired to have leadership conversations with our kids. Ask your child what it means to be a leader. Ask when it’s important to follow. How do they know when to stand up, speak out? Who are leaders they admire? Famous and personal. Is it ever scary to lead? Why? Is there a time it’s worth it anyway?
Enjoy your conversations! And, as always, we’re here if you have questions or concerns. David Keller (360)662-2344; Morgan Collins (360)662-2343; and Linda Roberts, Counseling Secretary, (360)662-2340.
